Ingredients

- 1 cup unsalted butter
- 2 cups granulated sugar
- 4 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 3/4 cup cocoa powder
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking pan.
- Melt butter in a saucepan over low heat. Remove from heat and stir in sugar.
- Beat in eggs one at a time, then add vanilla.
- Sift together flour, cocoa powder, cinnamon, cayenne, and salt. Gradually mix into the butter mixture.
- Spread batter evenly in the prepared pan.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Cool before cutting into squares.
Notes
- Adjust cayenne for more or less heat.
- Store in an airtight container for up to 5 days.
