Description

A warm and comforting bread pudding infused with rich chocolate, perfect for cold winter days.


Ingredients

  • 4 cups day-old bread, cubed
  • 2 cups whole milk
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup cocoa powder
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a baking dish.
  2. In a bowl, whisk milk, cream, sugar, cocoa powder, eggs, vanilla, cinnamon, and salt.
  3. Add bread cubes to the mixture. Let soak for 10 minutes.
  4. Fold in chocolate chips.
  5. Transfer to the baking dish. Bake for 40-45 minutes until set.
  6. Let cool slightly before serving.
