Description

Decadent fudgy brownie truffles coated in chocolate and perfect for Valentine’s Day.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup cocoa powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup chocolate chips (milk or dark)
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup semisweet chocolate, chopped (for coating)
  • Sprinkles or edible glitter (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease an 8×8-inch baking pan.
  2. Mix flour, cocoa powder, and salt in a bowl.
  3. In another bowl, whisk melted butter, sugar, eggs, and vanilla until smooth.
  4. Combine dry and wet ingredients. Fold in chocolate chips.
  5. Pour batter into the pan and bake for 25 minutes. Let cool completely.
  6. Crumble the brownies into fine crumbs.
  7. Heat heavy cream until steaming, pour over chopped chocolate, and stir until smooth.
  8. Mix 1/2 cup ganache with brownie crumbs. Roll into 1-inch balls.
  9. Dip each truffle in remaining ganache and decorate with sprinkles.
  10. Chill for 30 minutes before serving.
