Ingredients

- 4 oz dark chocolate (70% cocoa)
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 egg yolk
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 tbsp all-purpose flour
- Pinch of salt
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease 4 ramekins.
- Melt chocolate and butter together in a double boiler.
- Whisk eggs, yolk, sugar, and vanilla until pale and thick.
- Fold melted chocolate into egg mixture gently.
- Sift flour and salt into the batter, mix until just combined.
- Divide batter evenly among ramekins.
- Bake for 12-14 minutes until edges are set but center is soft.
- Serve immediately.
Notes
- Use high-quality chocolate for best results
- Do not overbake – center should remain liquid
- Serve with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream
