Rich and creamy chocolate dessert served in individual jars.
Ingredients

- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup whole milk
- 5 oz dark chocolate (70% cocoa), chopped
- 4 large egg yolks
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- Pinch of salt
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 325°F (160°C).
- Heat cream and milk in a saucepan until steaming (do not boil).
- Whisk egg yolks, sugar, vanilla, and salt in a bowl.
- Slowly pour hot cream mixture into egg mixture while whisking.
- Add chopped chocolate and stir until fully melted.
- Strain mixture through a fine sieve into jars.
- Place jars in a baking dish and fill dish with hot water halfway up the jars.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes until set but slightly jiggly in center.
- Chill for at least 4 hours before serving.
Notes
- Use high-quality chocolate for best results.
- Can be made 2 days ahead.
- Top with whipped cream or berries before serving.
