Ingredients

- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 tbsp cocoa powder
- 2 tbsp sugar
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1 cup milk
- 1 large egg
- 2 tbsp melted butter
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
Instructions
- Whisk flour, cocoa powder, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt in a bowl.
- In another bowl, mix milk, egg, melted butter, and vanilla.
- Combine wet and dry ingredients. Stir until just mixed.
- Heat a lightly greased pan over medium heat.
- Pour 1/4 cup batter for each pancake. Cook until bubbles form, then flip.
- Cook another 1-2 minutes until done. Serve warm.
Notes
- Do not overmix the batter to keep pancakes fluffy.
- Adjust sugar to taste.
- Top with chocolate chips, syrup, or fresh fruit.
