Description

A rich and indulgent salted honey chocolate tart with a buttery crust and silky ganache filling.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, cold and cubed
  • 1 large egg yolk
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 8 oz dark chocolate, chopped
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 1/2 tsp sea salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Mix flour and sugar in a bowl. Cut in butter until crumbly.
  3. Add egg yolk and mix until dough forms. Press into a tart pan.
  4. Bake for 15 minutes until golden. Let cool.
  5. Heat cream until simmering. Pour over chocolate and stir until smooth.
  6. Stir in honey and sea salt. Pour into crust.
  7. Chill for 2 hours before serving.
