- 1/2 cup unsalted butter
- 4 oz dark chocolate (70% cocoa)
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 2 egg yolks
- 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C). Grease 4 ramekins.
- Melt butter and chocolate in a bowl over simmering water. Stir until smooth.
- Remove from heat. Whisk in sugar, eggs, egg yolks, flour, salt, and vanilla.
- Divide batter evenly into ramekins.
- Bake for 12-14 minutes until edges are set but center is soft.
- Let cool for 1 minute, then invert onto plates and serve immediately.

- Do not overbake—center should be molten.
- Serve with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream.
