- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, chilled
- 3 tbsp ice water
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1/4 cup cocoa powder
- 2 large eggs
- 1/2 cup evaporated milk
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F.
- Mix flour and salt, then cut in butter until crumbly.
- Add ice water and form dough into a ball.
- Roll out dough and press into a pie dish.
- Whisk sugar, cocoa, eggs, evaporated milk, and vanilla.
- Pour filling into the crust.
- Bake for 40 minutes or until set.
- Cool before serving.
