Description

A moist and flavorful banana bread packed with chocolate chips for extra sweetness.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 1/3 cups mashed bananas (about 45 bananas)
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×5-inch loaf pan.
  2. In a bowl, mix flour, baking soda, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, beat butter and sugar until creamy. Add eggs, mashed bananas, and vanilla.
  4. Gradually blend dry ingredients into the wet mixture. Fold in chocolate chips.
  5. Pour batter into the prepared pan. Bake for 60-65 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  6. Cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack.
