Ingredients

- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 3/4 cup brown sugar
- 2 eggs
- 2 1/3 cups mashed bananas (about 4–5 bananas)
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 cup chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×5-inch loaf pan.
- In a bowl, mix flour, baking soda, and salt.
- In another bowl, beat butter and sugar until creamy. Add eggs, mashed bananas, and vanilla.
- Gradually blend dry ingredients into the wet mixture. Fold in chocolate chips.
- Pour batter into the prepared pan. Bake for 60-65 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack.
Notes
- Use very ripe bananas for the best flavor and texture.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
- Freeze slices for up to 3 months.
