Description

A moist and flavorful chocolate cake with hints of orange zest.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 200g all-purpose flour
  • 150g sugar
  • 50g cocoa powder
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • Pinch of salt
  • 2 eggs
  • 120ml milk
  • 100ml vegetable oil
  • 1 tbsp orange zest
  • 60ml fresh orange juice

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F).
  2. Grease a cake pan and dust with flour.
  3. Mix dry ingredients (flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, salt).
  4. Whisk eggs, milk, oil, orange zest, and orange juice.
  5. Combine wet and dry ingredients gently.
  6. Pour batter into the pan.
  7. Bake for 30-35 minutes.
  8. Check with a toothpick for doneness.
  9. Cool before serving.
