- 200g dark chocolate (70% cocoa)
- 100ml heavy cream
- 50ml Irish cream liqueur
- 25g unsalted butter
- 2 tbsp cocoa powder (for dusting)
Instructions
- Chop the chocolate into small pieces and place in a heatproof bowl.
- Heat the cream in a saucepan until it just starts to simmer.
- Pour the hot cream over the chocolate and let it sit for 2 minutes.
- Stir the mixture until smooth and glossy.
- Add the Irish cream liqueur and butter, stirring until fully combined.
- Cover the bowl and refrigerate for 2 hours or until firm.
- Scoop small portions and roll into balls using your hands.
- Dust the truffles with cocoa powder before serving.
Notes
- Store truffles in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 1 week.
- For a stronger flavor, add an extra 10ml of Irish cream liqueur.
- Use gloves when rolling to prevent melting.
